Bound By a Shared Vision
Behind SOURCE is a team bound by a shared vision: to honor Bristol Bay and tell its story with honesty and artistry. More than a film, this project is a testament to the deep connection between people, place, and purpose.
With unwavering dedication, the team has immersed themselves in the wild, crafting a narrative as intricate as the ecosystem itself. Guided by the belief that true preservation lies in restraint, their work serves as a powerful reminder of what’s at stake—and what’s still possible.
FILM SYNOPSIS
SOURCE explores the incredible story of Bristol Bay, Alaska—one of the last untouched sanctuaries for wild salmon. Through breathtaking visuals and immersive storytelling, the film follows veteran commercial fishing skipper Nick Lee as he explores this pristine ecosystem and the responsibility we all share in protecting it. Part nature documentary, part eco-thriller, SOURCE provides a rare look at the natural history of this landscape through its interdependence with wild salmon, and the potential impact of human development that has destroyed salmon populations nearly everywhere else on Earth.
